Debra Achenbach is a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 20 years of mental health experience. She obtained her Master of Nursing degree with a specialization on psychosocial nursing at the University of Washington in 1998. She is Board Certified as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Adult and Mental Health Nursing with the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Ms. Achenbach completes psychiatric assessments and prescribes psychotropic medications.

While recognizing that medication management is necessary for some clients to achieve their desired level of functioning, she also believes the best treatement incorporates other strategies along with careful evaluation of the risks and benefits of psychopharmacology for each client.

Ms. Achenbach will work closely with clients, families and their therapists to meet each client's individual needs.
