Polly Burton, MA

Polly Burton“I believe we all need and want to feel connected to other people. Human relationships bring the greatest joy and yet, can be the most intense source of pain. Counseling is an opportunity for discovery, hope and healing.”

Polly has a background in providing family interventions, conflict resolution, child advocacy in schools, parenting education and facilitating skill building groups with children. As a counselor, Polly states, “I come along side you to identify ineffective patterns of functioning that hinder relationships or seep out in ways that impact the mind, body and spirit. I use a variety of methods such as painting and collage along with narrative therapy to reveal the untold pieces of your life story. Together we promote your strengths and release those burdens that prevent trust, connections and the appropriate expression of emotions.”

Polly received her Masters Degree from George Fox University.
