Retired lawyer and aerospace engineer/program manager
Christine (she/her/hers) returns to the Board after a five-year hiatus, during which she continued to serve on various NCC committees. Her prior Board service was from 2007 through 2016. She strongly believes that mental health care is a basic human right and that NCC is answering Pope Francis’s call to destigmatize mental health through its work to provide mental health services to all, regardless of faith or finances. She is committed to positioning NCC to continue this important work as long as possible.
Christine is a recently retired attorney. During her legal career, she mainly represented employees who were seeking to enforce labor and civil rights laws in the workplace. Prior to law school, Christine worked in the aerospace industry for 22 years, both as an engineer and program manager. She has a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering, an MBA, and a JD. Christine enjoys travel, reading, knitting, and yoga, and hopes to devote more time to each of these now that she is retired.
