Prior to pursuing her counseling education, she spent 14 years working as a hairstylist, building solid relationships with her clients.
When working with clients, Lacie uses an integrative approach with a base in humanistic theory. She uses solution-focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and motivational interviewing to help clients address the concerns in their life. Lacie’s experience is primarily in individual counseling with adolescents and adults dealing with major life changes, anxiety, relationship issues, and shame. She also supports couples and families in navigating the trials of daily life.
“I believe every person has a capacity for growth, and should have access to mental healthcare. The client is the expert on their own life, my job is to work collaboratively to help them find the best version of themselves. Whether that means taking a journey through the hardest parts of life or refilling the tool box for the day to day challenges.
In her free time, Lacie enjoys painting, reading, movies, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
