Why Work at NCC? Hear From Our Staff!
I enjoy my career here at NCC because I get to work with a dynamic team of passionate staff who endeavor to create a healthy environment to support ourselves and the community we serve. I feel valued not just for what I bring to our work but also who I am as a person. I am also grateful that my contributions and opinions are valued by my colleagues and the organization overall is open to instituting changes that are not just needed but vital to keep up with our mission and continued growth. I am grateful and constantly inspired that one of our core tenets is justice.

– Lu Lu, LPC, NCC TherapistI love working here at NCC because their values not only align with my own, but also the support of my colleagues in collaboration, personal growth, and growth as a therapist is more than I could have asked for in a place of work.

Become a Board Member!
The Board of The Northwest Catholic Counseling Center (NCC) provides mission-based leadership and strategic planning. Being a Board member is a great way to help both NCC and our community.
Today, NCC serves a broad range of clients including children, adolescents and adults into their 80’s and 90’s. Certain fundraising efforts are targeted at single mothers and their children. Clients can use their insurance or pay on a sliding-fee scale. No one is refused because of lack of resources. These clients have experienced a myriad of issues including domestic violence, abuse, depression/anxiety and grief. Clients can see their therapist in person at the counseling center or avail themselves of appointments conducted on Zoom. NCC counselors also visit K-8 schools to meet with students and their families.
The Executive Director leads the day-to-day operations and Board members work collaboratively with the Executive Director, an essential relationship.
The current Board includes members with a broad spectrum of experience in business, marketing, engineering, legal, mental health, and finance. You’re invited to join and enhance this multifaceted Board.
